Things have been crazy here with potty training and all...I tell ya, I never thought I would say this, but I am really tired of looking at Annalee's naked bum...she has been resistant to underwear of any kind, and totally regressed when I tried to move the potty back to the bathroom...so we are still here...
But I thought I'd post these others to get my mind off it and to remember what it was like back when she wore clothes!
And here's the cutest, sweetest little baby boy ever...pay no attention to the carrotsi n his nose :)
Jude is VERY aware of everything that we are eating or drinking, and therefore everything he is not...and he is letting us know he's not to thrilled with this situation, and we are no longer able to eat or drink anything anywhere near him in peace. He can no longer be held at the table with anything near him or it will be pulled off and in your lap, and he is QUICK let me tell you...
This is just a small view of what it can be like...
But my gosh he is so stinkin cute you just can't get mad at him!
I have discovered in the past couple of weeks that Annalee is in need of more structured activities. She has always been very independent and happy to play on her own for the most part. But lately she had been getting into EVERYTHING and basically driving me nuts, and then it just dawned on me... Duh...she's bored...so I've been planning scheduled activities a few times a day to help keep her occupied. So I made some homemade play-dough, you can find the recipe here.
We had a lot of fun....
I got out the cookie cutters and showed Annalee how to roll it it out, and had to tell her several times not to eat it :)
Here are a few of my attempts to be creative...
Her name spelled out in Play-Dough...
And the very difficult to execute Play- Dough Snake...
Although it was a pretty good snake if I do say so myself...
Then Daddy came home...
And it quickly became apparent that he is a much better play-dough creator than Mama...
He made a CAR!
Which Annalee thought was just the coolest...
And a head with Dread lock hair...ok mama was responsible for the hair...I had the rolling out down to an art...
Play Dough was a huge hit!
And this is what Jude was doing...Pay no attention to the drool on the floor...I don't...
