Play-Dough!

I have discovered in the past couple of weeks that Annalee is in need of more structured activities. She has always been very independent and happy to play on her own for the most part. But lately she had been getting into EVERYTHING and basically driving me nuts, and then it just dawned on me... Duh...she's bored...so I've been planning scheduled activities a few times a day to help keep her occupied.

So I made some homemade play-dough, you can find the recipe here
.

We had a lot of fun....

I got out the cookie cutters and showed Annalee how to roll it it out, and had to tell her several times not to eat it :)

Here are a few of my attempts to be creative...

Her name spelled out in Play-Dough...

And the very difficult to execute Play- Dough Snake...

Although it was a pretty good snake if I do say so myself...

Then Daddy came home...

And it quickly became apparent that he is a much better play-dough creator than Mama...

He made a CAR!

Which Annalee thought was just the coolest...

And a head with Dread lock hair...ok mama was responsible for the hair...I had t
he rolling out down to an art...

Play Dough was a huge hit!

And this is what Jude was doing...Pay no attention to the drool on the floor...I don't...
