And now for Little Miss Annalee. My big girl, at only 3. She is full of personality and keeps us on our toes! her most favorite past time right now is signing. She sings and sings and sings, and it amazes me how fast she can learn a song. She can hear it a couple of times and then sing it back to you.
Here are a couple of her favorites right now...

Videos Part 2
Jude...he is at such a fun age. He is sweet and lovey and absolutely hilarious! We are constantly laughing at him. His most favorite word right now is "no". He says it all the time! jay even heard him in his crib once practicing saying it over and over in a hundred different ways no, nooooo, no-oh" etc...
I ask him questions all the time just to hear him say "no!". No matter what you ask him, that is the answer, he does have to back track really quick sometimes and say "yes" though when he realizes it's something he would actually like to do. Without further ado, here is "no boy"!

The Park
The babes love the park...any park. Where they can run and climb and swing and bounce and of course fall down. So Jay and I took them to the park one Friday evening as our family outing.
You see, I can't physically take my kiddos to a park by myself right now. I need at least one other adult who doesn't have small children of their own to help me. Annalee can do most of the stuff on her own and is happy to go it alone, but I have to keep my eyes on her or she will wander off. Jude needs hands on help for most things and has absolutely no fear so you have to be right by his side the whole time or he will just walk right off one of the higher platforms...So yeah this poses a major safety issue for one mama with a 5 month old in tow as well...anyway I digress...so we went on a Friday night so Jay could enjoy the fun and and the babes would be safe.
They of course had a blast! Going down the slides over and over and running, running running, back and forth.

Jude is definitely our little dare devil right now...

He had so much fun playing with daddy!

Annalee really didn't "need" us to be there. She immediately made friends with 3 or 4 other kids that were there, and they ran off playing together. While I trailed along keeping my distance, but making sure she was being kind and that she was safe.
She would barely even stop for a picture, most of the ones I got of her were a blur...

It is certainly different than her first trip to the park when she looked like this...

The Toilet
We had a very interesting morning. it started out pretty typical. Ezra up at 7 eating, Annalee comes wandering in asking for a Big Apple (which means uncut). By 7:30 Ezra is fed and headed back to sleep and Jay and I are trying to lay in bed for a few more minutes, and then we hear Jude in his bed "Mama", Mama" and it gradually gets more intense and loud "MAMA!!"...ok...Jay goes and gets him and I hear him now asking for a "bipple"...his version of Annalee's Big Apple...and Jay gets it for him and then comes to lay back down...very short lived. I know that Jude can not be up in the house without lots of supervision, and he certainly is not going to let us lay in bed, about 2 min later in he comes, MAMA, MAMA...and then there is Annalee right behind him...so up we all get. It's not quite 8 am.
I decide to make waffles, we love waffles...and with the coffee Jay made things are going well. Everyone is fed and Jude is still strapped in at the table waiting to get cleaned up...this is when things take a bad turn...Before I can get to Jude he has put his very syrupy plate on his head...and is just holding it there letting all they stickiness seep into his hair...I get it away from him and resign myself to bathing him at 8:30 am if I don't want to deal with sticky hair all day.
So I get Jude in the tub and he's playing for a minute...the next thing I know there is a lot more than toys floating around in the water with Jude...yes for the first time in my life as a mother one of my kids has pooped in the tub, and it's everywhere, all over the toys and all over JUDE...
Get him out, and into my shower to get cleaned up. Then head back to the bathroom where Jay has started cleaning the toys and the tub...I let him off the hook and start doing it myself. I am using toilet paper to clean all the ehemmm, debris...out of the tub, so I can just flush it all when I'm done. Ok great, all done...flush toilet and leave, right?? Right...well umm no, why is the toilet filling up with water, instead of draining out?? I go get the plunger...no use, it's not budging at all...What the heck??? I didn't put THAT much toilet paper in there...
Finally tell Jay the good news, so he comes and tries the plunger...nope no good...what in the world?? He asks me "Are you sure you only put Toilet Paper in there???" Uh yeah, I'm pretty sure it was only toilet paper....
So we try the little wire snake we have...nope, nada nothing.
So we try the big ole nasty snake we have that we've used in pipes under the house...and nope nothing...but scratches left in our potty...
So Jay takes it apart, and we drain all the water and take it outside. We run the snake down the pipe and the clog is definitely not down there.
So we now have a toilet on our deck and we are trying to force water through it with the hose. It's not doing anything but filling up....So we try the small snake again and this time from the bottom, and FINALLY we see water starting to make it's way out, but no big plug of toilet paper or anything else for that matter...
So Jay goes to the hardware store, buys 2 (yes 2, we had a feeling we would need both) new wax seals and a new snake and comes home and puts it all back together again...and we give it a flush...and it fills up AGAIN.
By this point we are becoming very suspicious that at some point either last night or this morning something other than toilet paper was flushed and is now stuck. We decide our children are never allowed to have bath toys again as Jay is once again disassembling the toilet and taking it back outside. As I am confiscating all the little foam letters and my little ponies from the tub, I notice that the little miniature basketball goal we have in there is short one ball...the red ball, and I pass this info on to Jay...
He goes back at it with the wire snake and is just pushing pushing pushing shoving shoving shoving until finally, out pops this....

So I go to Annalee and I say "Annalee did you flush the red ball down the potty?"
And she looks at me with this face...
And says "Yes I did"
Bless her heart she is 3 and can not yet tell a lie...

The Nest
The other day for some unknown reason Annalee decided to build a nest...yep, a nest...and not out of the typical things, like twigs and leaves and dirt or whatever...but oh lets see, instead she used the boppy pillow...uh huh and my favorite scarf...and various other things out of the kitchen drawers...
Like leftover taco bell sauce...and an extra fortune cookie and some duck sauce...yep....
and baby spoons....
and chopsticks....
and cookie cutters......she was very creative...
and she worked for diligently on it
for quite sometime, positioning everything just right....
and eventually she was just done and wandered off, So Jude decided to step in and put it all away for her since he is obsessed with putting things in the kitchen cabinets and drawers...for once it was actually working to may advantage...
He worked just as diligently to put it all away....
I was very appreciative even if it wasn't put back the same way they found it...
Who am I kidding, that's pretty much exactly what that drawer looked like before they ever touched it...and yes...my kitchen floor is dirty in this pictures...but only for a few minutes, I immediately scrubbed it after these pictures were taken...uh huh...
