And the plan was to go trick or treating at Mimi and Bumpy's neighborhood with the cousins! We get there, and The cousins look great! There's a cop, a bat and a very realistic looking mummy!
Who it turns out my kids found unbelievably scary. Annalee wouldn't even go near him, couldn't bear to look at him and screamed and cried. She absolutely could not understand that is was just her sweet cousin Micah under all that fabric and makeup. So after trying to calm her down forever, we decided it was in everyone's best interest to go in opposite directions...and from there, things went very well!
They loved going up to the doors all on their own and ringing the bell and saying "Trick or Treat!" Ezra was mpre than happy to just hang out in the wagon and eat snacks and drink milk!
They got way more candy than anyone could ever need to have and wore themselves completely out!
The next morning they got up and immediately wanted to put their costumes back on!! This has gone on for days!
