So...my baby turned 2

I really can't believe it, he's till such a baby to me, he's soft and squishy and cuddly.  But, he really was born 2 years ago, and is definitely more toddler than baby...So we had a party.

He started his day with pancakes with whip cream and a candle. 

When I told him to blow it out, he said " Ah, Ah, Choooo!" How stinkin cute is that??  He pretend sneezed his candle out!



Since the baby boy is so enamored with hot wheels cars, we went with a race theme, lots of checker flags, and race food, mini corn dogs, popcorn, nachos and cotton candy in the goodie bags!

 And of course the race track cake! 

He was completely mesmerized by all of it, when he saw the cake, he said "Caaaaas!"  He couldn't take his eyes off all the streamers and balloons either!

Then we ate lots of junk food and cake, that's what parties are for, right??

He really did blow his candles out too!  Although no one wanted to eat from that side of the cake afterwards!

Then came present time, and he was soooo good at opening them all on his own!

I love party day!  I am always completely stressed out (the cake) but it always works out and is always so much fun to see their sweet little faces light up!!
