We did actually Celebrate Thanksgiving...

But with no camera to capture it (I still just thought it was misplaced at this point) I had to steal this one picture from my Stepdaughter's FB just to prove it!!

Haven't posted much...

I haven't posted much lately...but I have a good reason.

On Jude's birthday we were outside taking pictures and my camera battery died, so I sat it on the car until we were ready to go inside...and never thought of it again...

Until days later when it had not just shown up and Jay and I were ready to put up the Christmas tree and wanted to take pics of the kids helping...camera was no where to be found, and I remembered putting it on the car...Jay was convinced we had left it on the car and when we left the house later that day it fell off as we were driving.

Well it made it out of the driveway and down the road until there was a sharp curve...and that's where Jay found this...






Soooooooo sad :( I felt terrible. But we did go out and buy another one, Ijust can't let a holiday pass with no camera to capture it!

Take a look at the Get up...

Annalee is so silly...she's really into dressing up with play clothes and with her regular clothes too...the other day a friend brought us some hand-me-downs and Annalee picked out 2 of her favorite piece and decided to wear them...the sweater and the lady bug rain boots...yeah, I don't know...



I can't remember now why she didn't have pants on...but oh well...




she's seriously posing for these pictures...she's been doing that a lot lately too...unless of course I actually want her too...



she is so silly....

Yahoo!! Jude is 1!!

Yep, it really happened...my baby turned 1! He had such a good time! Friday was his actual birthday, but his party was planned for Saturday. So on Friday we sang Happy Birthday to him all day, and he would laugh and smile like he knew something special was going on just for him that day!

Aunt Gi-Gi came over and brought him a present too since she had to work on Saturday and din't know if she would make it to the party...


It was his first present opening experience, and he wasn't quite sure what to do...

He eventually figured it out



And loved his "milk and cookies"



Later I made orange cream cupcakes and we had a small celebration after dinner.




Jude has had cookies and some ice cream ets, but he has never just been given a big piece of whatever and given free reign...we weren't really sure what to expect...there was no need for worry...




He dove right in, as though he had been waiting his entire 1 year to do that!!





I have never seen anyone eat a cupcake so fast!!!




It made him very happy!!



Then on Saturday he got to do it all over again but with more people, presents, balloons and a bigger cake!!


Playing with his cousin Micah before all the fun got started...






Publix did his cake based on his party invitation, and it turned out soooo cute!!




My mom brought him a birthday crown to wear...he wasn't to thrilled about it...




He got all smiley again when we all sang Happy Birthday!




And then he immediately tore into his cake...



It was crazy! He ate...




and ate....until I finally had to take it away!






And then present time!

He still wasn't really sure what to do with all the presents...




but he loved playing with them!
