A Sunday of Firsts...

Well yesterday I did the inevitable...put Jude in the nursery for the first time.  It was hard...I keep thinking all of these things are supposed to get easier with subsequent children...and they just have not!

Anyway, he did great, Adrian, (the volunteer, and I like her a lot, so that helped) was very excited to get Jude for his first service in there, but was a
lso very disappointed to learn that Annalee, would be moving up to Little Ark, our 2-3 y/o class!  I also was very sad!  She's getting so big so fast, but I knew it was time, she has totally gotten bored with the nursery and is ready for more.

She had an awesome time, and her teachers were very nice too.  They said she did wander during the lesson, but that all the newbies do.

And the best part of the whole day...she made her very first Sunday school craft!! A beaded bracelet with a heart charm... It was just about the sweetest thing ever and is definitely going in her keepsake box...

Here are a couple of pics of her wearing it...

And here are a couple close up...notice it has a name on it...not exactly her name...a bit annoying...but I'm getting used to it, people constantly mispronounce it write it with a space and capital A and L...It's Annalee people (pronounced like emily)...anyway I better get used to it!

Either way the bracelet is precious and I will treasure it forever!

  1. Yeah I've already braced myself for all the mispronunciations(?) ahead for my girls. We've gotten a lot already...mostly with Brynleigh though.
