Playin' Mama...

Annalee loves to play like she's the mama. It really started when Jude was born, you can see in this post where it seems to have started. She loves her baby dolls and pretending to feed them or change them, and she certainly loves trying to take care of Jude. Yesterday morning he was in his crib crying while I was making a bottle and Annalee found a paci and headed back there saying "Jude cry, I give paci"...she really is beginning to actually be helpful with him...except for when she decides there is something in his room she needs and just barges in regardless of the fact that he is sound asleep...or at least WAS...

Anyway...I digress...2 of her favorite things are of course Yah Yah...and her baby doll stroller. And her most favorite thing to do right now is to push Yah Yah around in the stroller and pretend like it's her baby. Almost every morning we get up to Annalee coming out of her room first thing like this....




She has gotten out of bed and immediately put her baby in it's stroller and they are ready to start their day!






She will push it allllll over the house with serious determination like they have very important business to attend to.


And sometimes she'sll stop and take her baby out and hold it for a minute...but before she can do that she has push the hood of the stroller back...She does this absolutely every single time before she takes Yah Yah out....






And then she'll put her back in and push the hood back into place...




It's so funny, and something I wouldn't even have expected her to pick up on, but she did and it's like she thinks you can't take her in or out without moving that hood, she never ever forgets to do it...


I don't know why, but I really get a kick out of this...sorry, just had to share, now you can go back to your regularly scheduled programming...
