We have a Backyard!

Whoo Hoo! Since having a fence put up it feels like we actually have a backyard! I can actually let Annalee play back there without having my eyes zoned in on her the entire time. It's awesome! Plus we (Jay) had to do a lot of clearing just to make room for the fence so it's a lot nicer back there too. Although there is still a lot of work to be done, it already feels like a real backyard that our family will be enjoying for years to come.

I snapped a couple of pics of Annalee playing in the Fig tree and the Crepe Myrtles, I thought they turned out pretty good...thankfully, because I paid quite a high price for them...I didn't realize that I was standing right in the middle of a huge Fire Ant mound until it was to late...way to late...

Here she is in the fig tree...it grows very low to the ground due to much bigger heavier trees that used to smoother it...






And then in the one of the Crepe Myrtles...she loved that she could "get in" the tree...





And this one is our little bamboo grove...Jay left it so the kids would be able to play "jungle" one day with some realism...





And then a few of our very beautiful and very safe fence...
