There is always a price to pay...

I do not like mornings.  They are definitely not my favorite part of the day, at least not the getting up part, I love the laying in bed drifting in and out of sleep part, but that rarely happens around here and if it does it is short lived...very short lived...

Even though I know I NEED to get up early and get showered and dressed for the day before the kids get up, I have a very hard time following through with it, which means I end up trying to grab the faster shower ever while Ezra is napping and Annalee and Jude are (hopefully) being entertained by Curious George.  Some days this is ok, and I grab a quick shower (my legs are chronically hairy...there is no time for that in the 5 min) and then jump out and check on the kids before blow drying to find them still quietly sitting where I left them or playing nicely in Annalee's room...or the sometimes (a lot of the time) the en up in the bathroom (shower) with me....

Other days...I get out of the shower and I notice things are very quiet and I instinctively no something has gone wrong...This happened yesterday...I walked into the kitchen and smelled something very sweet and familiar...I keep walking and in the living room I find this scene...

Yes that is my coffee creamer all over the the furniture...the carpet... the toys...the kids

Yes sleeping in comes with a very high price around here.
