Even though it doesn't feel much like it yet! We made a trip up to Sky Top Apple Orchard to pick some apples and enjoy the day. We got waaaaaaay to many apples, and I fear I will be making apple pies, apple butter spiced apples, apple sauce. apple pancakes and anything else you could possibly put an apple in for the next month or so of my life!
But of course we had a blast, even though I did start the day off a complete grump butt...
After we picked more than we could carry back up the hill, we walked around to visit the animals...
They loved loved loved the ducks! And the ducks are not at all scared of people because they espect food, so they came right up to us and one even bit Jude's finger!
Afterwards the kids played in all the little houses on the playground and Lara shopped in the store, and finally we were all completely exhausted and ready to head home!
And the next day I made this....
