Doesn't she look tiny??
But we can tell she really loves it...
She has done really well, she has gotten up a few times, she'll knock on her door from the inside and say "mama?" "daddy?" or she will play with her toys or even clop around in my shoes that I left in there (like last night) but it has not been the hair pulling, fit throwing, kicking and screaming, gnawing and gnashing of teeth that I was afraid it would be! I think she was really ready.
And she does not seem to care one iota that Jude now has her crib and changing table in his room... She never ceases to amaze me.
And we are all sleeping better for it!
And now I'm really hoping that when we are in a good routine with it, I will be able to sneak in there at nap time and curl up next to her and just cuddle with her for a few minutes, and hold her like I haven't since she was just weeks old, and breath in her little girl smell, and feel her little soft and squishy body close to mine without the squirming and protesting I get normally....ahhhhh...I can dream can't I???
I love how little she looks in that "big" bed! Sounds like she did great! I also dream of being able to snuggle up next to Leo while he naps. Hasn't happened yet...
ReplyDeleteGlad she's doing well! :)
