Baking with my baby...

Several times over the past few months I have let Annalee help when I was baking something. And she looooves it! She is always so excited and talks about it for days later...She says...mommy I make noonles (noodles), I roll it, and pat it and cut it (even though I was the one doing the cutting)...

And she helped me roll out bread dough the other day too, and she thought that was just great too, especially when we rolled it back up and tucked n the ends to put it in the pan...

So yesterday when I was baking mini apple pies for dessert for our small group, there was a lot of rolling with 18 little mini pies, so I let her help...






She doesn't look all that happy in these pics...




But that's because she was concentrating...




Pies are very serious business...
