Merry Christmas to All!!

Christmas here was awesome...we all got way more than we deserved, and enjoyed every minute of it.

It was such a fun year for Annalee, she has loved every single thing about the holiday season, we couldn't go into a store with out spending a few minutes on the Christmas decoration aisle...every morning she would get up and I would turn on the tree and she would say "It's Christmas time!" And she figured out that people would say "Merry Christmas" as a greeting and she would go around saying
"Berry Christmas or Christmas Time!" to people we would pass...it was hilarious!

Jude spent most of his time just trying to pull as many ornaments off the tree as he could everyday and admiring the big bulb colored lights on the tree, he would go up and touch them very gently and his eyes would get really wide and he would bounce up and down...so cute, he loved the lights so much that when we were putting up the tree I had to put him in his crib just so we could get them on there without him pulling them back off!!

We spent Christmas Eve with Jay's family and it was crazy chaos at present opening time, paper and ribbon flying everywhere all at once, but the kids loved it and the grown ups were just happy to have survived it!

Annalee ate way to much Chocolate on Christmas Eve and was up 4
times that night, but never wandered into the living room to see what Santa had left her, I guess this is probably the only year we'll be that lucky! So we all finally got up around 7:30 and they were so excited about all the new toys they had to play with. Annalee has the unwrapping thing down pretty well, so she did a lot of helping with Jude's presents too...

I th
ink overwhelmed is probably the best word to describe how they were feeling at that point and we still had one more celebration to go...

Christmas Day brunch at my sister's house...which was extra special this year since the whole family was back together.

There would have been more pictures of Jude, but they were ALL blurry...he would not be still long enough to get many decent pictures... He was to busy enjoying his new toys, an Annalee's too...

All in all, it was a wonderful time and I love watching our babies experience new things, and every year Annalee understands a little more, she even understood a little about the birth of Jesus this year and talked a lot about the baby and Joseph and Mary...warms a mama's heart.

  1. Next year is gonna be insane with Annalee and Jude, and the new baby will want to get in on the game too. ;) It's so fun to see how excited they get about all the little things though, makes me feel like a kid again in some ways. ;)
