Annalee is still the little mama, she wants to be the one to take care of Ezra, if she hears him crying she'll say "Mom, I'll go get her" (she's having trouble with when to use him/her...lol) Of course she can't actually get him, so she has had to revert to being her yah-yah's mama, and we have found her pretending all over the house!
Here she has put yah-yah in the bouncy seat with a blankie and a toy, how sweet is that??
And here she's pushing pink yah-yah and blue yah-yah around in the double stroller....
And here she apparently thought yah-yah needed a nap in Ezra's bed...
It has been a a lot of fun to watch her pretending these days, and I really can't believe she's going to be 3 in less than 2 weeks...sigh...
Jude is a mess...he is the sweetest and most cantankerous child all at the same time. He is at a frustrating age. He really wants to communicate, but doesn't have enough words in his vocabulary to do so with much success, so he's frustrated and then I'm frustrated...
And he is really working on becoming more and more independent. He is insisting on feeding himself for the most part, so the other night we had tacos, and his is just basically a taco bowl, no shell...and so we let him feed himself...it was MESSY! But he did really good...
and he was so super proud of himself!
He Really wants to interact with Ezra, but just isn't really sure how, he tries to share things with him like cookies...I find crumbs on Ezra a lot...
And his toys...here are the alphabet letters from the fridge...
and basically any random object he can find around the house...
and he is seriously going to think the baby's name is "Gentle", because that's what we say anytime he gets near him!
And as for little Ezra, he is so sweet and still rarely cries, he loves to stare at us and I'm sure there will be a smile coming any day now.
But for now he does a lot of this...
and this...
and some of this...
and occasionally this...
so like I said...it's busy, but good busy...
Oh, Amy! They are all so beautiful. I know you must run yourself silly, but you inspire the rest of us with all of your optimism and energy. Love you!
ReplyDeleteCute pics of Jude feeding himself! And Ezra is just a doll! :) Love how they both want to help out with their new baby brother and give him toys and random objects. ;)
