Annalee is 3!!

I really just still can't believe my baby is 3...and the oldest...of 3...it's crazy...

She had a really fun and awesome birthday. I was really worried in the months leading up to Ezra birth, that I wouldn't be able to put much of a party together, and then I found these invitations:

And they were perfect, since Annalee has been taking dance this year! We went with a dance theme, and made this pull apart cake of 47 cupcakes, decorated (by her sweet daddy, because I panicked and couldn't even do it!!) to look like the invitation...

And then I had my friend Kami make this very special Tu Tu, just for her!! I love it! it turned out so super cute, I wish I had one for myself!!

So party day finally came around (the day before her actual birthday) and all of our family came and her BFF , Kate (who shares her same birthday) was able to come too! That's Kate with her mommy Laura on the right. And yes, I made that super cute birthday banner (thank you Laura!)

And so soon it was timeto sing Happy Birthday and blow out the candles...errr...candle!

And then it was present time...a theme developed with out anyone realizing it...

There were lots of dress up clothes...

Once Annalee got to that Cinderella dress, she wore it for the rest of the day...and the day after and the day after and the day after....

She had such a great time, and I was very pleased with how it all turned out!

So on her actual birthday, we sang Happy Birthday over and over all day, and she got to pick anything she wanted for each meal, cereal for breakfast, PB&J for lunch and Hot Dogs and Mac & cheese for dinner! It was the best she has eaten in months!!

Then after dinner we sang again

and she got to blow her candle out again,

and then open presents AGAIN!!

And of course Judezilla was there to destroy everything in his path :)

she got lots of Bubble paraphernalia

And another dress up dress...

and Shoes!!!

and then the biggie....her sweet little pink Trike!!

And that night as I put her to bed I
got all teary eyed thinking about how 3 years before I had been putting her down to sleep in her little bassinet in the hospital, and then here she was 3 years old, going to bed in her big girl bed, saying prayers and singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to me...

Time really does fly...

  1. Beautiful pics and looks like she got tons of good stuff! :) The cupcake/cake idea was cute. :) I'm sad b/c Keely will turn 4 in just 3 days. :( It does feel like we just brought her home from the hospital too!!
