On Good Friday I made Hot cross buns because of the story behind them found here... and then I took most of them to my sisters because she was actually going to be seeing some of her friends that night for a messianic passover meal. They turned out really good! I will definitely do it again next year!
Then on Saturday Annalee and I dyed eggs...she did so good, I barely even had to help her!
Easter Sunday, Jay had 3 services at church to play for, while we stayed home until the final one and prepared food for our family lunch and the kiddos got to enjoy their baskets!
After church we went to my sisters for an awesome lunch and family time, plus another egg hunt for the little ones...
We actually (barely) got a nice photo of my mom and us girls...that never happens, and we got so tickled in the middle of it, that we are lucky we got one even this good...We are such girls we were all complaining about our position and did I have a double chin or is my hair to stringy or my head to small...it was ridiculous and hilarious!!
A truly great holiday...the only down side was I waited to late to get a family shot, and we were all exhausted and it did not turn out so well, but it's all I have so here it is... we're all really a lot cuter than this :)
